NVIDIA (NVDA.US) confirmed the resubmission of its application to the US to sell H20 chips to China, Morgan Stanley mentioned in a research report. It is expected that the US will grant the license soon. If the H20 chip is approved, it will directly benefit China's data center and AI industry chain, opined the broker, while also drawing attention to keep tab on the actual shipping progress.

Separately, US President Donald Trump is pondering on a visit to China, and the White House is consulting business leaders about their willingness to accompany him. Morgan Stanley pointed out that the uncertainty in Sino-U.S. relations remains a key factor suppressing the performance of China's offshore market recently.

Investors are particularly concerned about the expiration of the Sino-U.S. tariff truce on August 12. They believe that if Trump's visit to China materializes, it could signal a relaxation in bilateral trade relations, but the direction of tariff policy remains unclear.
